Triumphant returns;3 Saints happy to be back for a visit
The New Orleans Saints visited the White House Monday, which was
a new experience for them. Yesterday, three members of the Super
Bowl champs got to catch up with some old friends in New
England.
Fullback Heath Evans, cornerback Randall Gay and tight end David
Thomas found themselves back in familiar territory as the Saints
kicked off a three-day stay here with a pair of joint practices
against the
Patriots . The teams will hold a
joint two-hour workout beginning at 9 a.m. today before meeting in
their preseason opener tomorrow night at Gillette Stadium.
Changing in the visitors' locker room was just one of many
things that reminded the trio of ex-
Patriots this wasn't your
traditional homecoming. Still, it was one they collectively
relished.
