Other than a defensive lineman going AWOL, a running back retiring at age 23, a surprise jaunt to Seaside, Ella Fitzgerald music during practice and pro wrestlers visiting the sidelines, it has been an uneventful few weeks at 49ers training camp. A sense of normalcy returns today, when fans can return to the familiar terrain of fretting over Alex Smith.
