According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the New Orleans Saints say “there is a sense of optimism” that Graham will be able to play when the Saints emerge from their Week Seven bye to play the Bills in Week Eight
Monday’s atmosphere at Saints Camp was dripping with disappointment after Sunday’s 30-27 last-minute defeat in New England. The players reconvened for a conditioning session of running laps and lifting weights after a late-night arrival home in New Orl..
According to Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com, New Orleans TE Jimmy Graham will undergo an MRI on Monday for a foot injury. Graham injured his foot in the 2nd half of the 30-27 loss to the New England Patriots and couldn’t finish the game
New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham will undergo an MRI on his foot.
That Graham is undergoing an MRI does not mean that his foot is a major concern but does make it a situation worth motioning.
In the last year of his contract, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio believes that Graham is trying to score a contract which ranks among the highest paid wide receivers in football. Graham lines up as a receiver on nearly half of the Saints offensive plays.
More information regarding Graham’s foot should be forthcoming soon.
In his initial report Florio mistyped foot with “knee” which has led to some sites reporting inaccurate information
The New Orleans Saints picked up their first blemish on their perfect record this season as the New England Patriots stole one in the waning second of the fourth quarter. The loss puts the Saints at 5-1 which is nothing to fret about going into the bye week. However, the loss did show that the Saints have a long way to go as a team.
This was a game that veteran teams close out. The Saints today showed that they still have some growing to do despite the fact they are for the most part a veteran team. Surprisingly enough, a good amount of growing has to be done by Drew Brees and Sean Payton. The game was theirs for the taking and they essentially gave it away. Payton and Brees, who have been lauded for their play calling and execution, came up short on Sunday, especially in the last 2 minutes. The defense, who had the unenviable task to stopping Tom Brady, managed to get the job done (twice!) with a three and out and an interception.
The offense followed it up with three and outs of..
According to Mike Triplett of ESPN.com, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham suffered a lower leg injury during Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.
Graham briefly returned to the field after having his lower left leg taped up, but then he limped off with trainers before the game ended. The Saints didn’t offer any injury updates after the game, and Graham was not present in the locker room.
With the Saints headed into a bye week, Graham will have some time to get healthy prior to their next game.

The New Orleans Saints lost a 30-27 heartbreaker to the New England Patriots on Sunday after allowing Tom Brady to throw the game-winning touchdown with 5 seconds left. Naturally, Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan was disgusted.
As the NFL enters Week 6, there are 20 teams either in first place or within a game of the top spot in the division. And in seven of the eight divisions, there are either multiple teams tied for first or at least one team within a game of the lead. “This team is hungry,” said Cleveland Browns’ head coach Rob Chudzinski, whose team is one of the squads tied for first place in their division as they are joined to the hip with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North at 3-2. “I don’t see them being satisfied with what they’re doing because I see improvement. This is a group of fighters and guys that want to get better and succeed.” Photo Credit: ClevelandBrowns.com The Bengals should separate themselves from the pack as they prepare for the Buffalo Bills (2-3) while the Ravens will battle against the Green Bay Packers and the Browns will take on the Detroit Lions. The Browns will reign on top of the AFC North after Week 6 as the Bengals and Ravens will receive L’s. ..
