Drew Brees will receive a gigantic contract from the Saints and there's no chance he'll play anywhere else other than the Saints in 2012. The question is when. The Saints have the franchise tag to fall back on if a long-term deal isn't mapped out by March 5. But the Saints would rather tag Nicks or Colston and have a Brees deal done.

Will the Saints be willing to sign another guard to a $60 million deal considering G Jahri Evans' $56 million contract two years ago? Someone will have no problem paying Nicks huge money and the sentiment in the locker room is that Nicks could easily play elsewhere in 2012.

This is the contract Colston has been waiting for since entering the league with a splash in 2006. He'll be looking for No. 1 WR money and the Saints will likely have to fork over plenty of cash to keep Drew Brees' security blanket.

Dunbar may fit in well with new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and he said he wants to stay in New Orleans.

DT Shaun Rogers didn't fit in with the defense for about the first half of the season. Then the Saints established a pretty nice role for him on running downs and Rogers made more plays once that happened. Rogers wasn't a locker room headache despite his reputation and the Saints may bring him back for another season.

While not being a weapon really at all in the passing game, TE John Gilmore did serve as a solid blocking TE to complement TE Jimmy Graham. Gilmore's role increased once TE David Thomas went on IR. The Saints seem to like Gilmore so a one-year veteran minimum contract could easily happen in New Orleans.
