The 12-year veteran played 168 games for New Orleans, including 10 playoffs games and Super Bowl XLIV. NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport reported this afternoon that longtime New Orleans Saints right tackle Zach Strief is expected to call it a career: Strief has been one of the longest-tenured Saints, drafted in Sean Payton’s first season way back in 2006 – a draft class including names like Reggie Bush, Roman Harper, Jahri Evans, and Marques Colston. Despite not getting picked until the 210th selection in the seventh round, Strief outlasted them all. But he did manage to help win Super Bowl XLIV with them.
