New Orleans Saints training camp is one hot ticket – (Yardbarker)
Saints training camp opens to the public in one week. The first three days of those open practices are already sold out.
Rookies have already reported for Saints training camp and vets report on the 25th. Expectations for the Saints heading into the 2018 season are sky high and fans are eager to see this year’s team on the field.
Ten practices this season are open to the public but the first three are already sold out. The tickets are free but you have to go through a ticket app to get them and they’re obviously a very hot commodity.
Most people in the Gulf South know it’s next to impossible to predict the weather a week out. Currently, forecasts for the New Orleans metro area don’t look good for next weekend. If the weather is extremely hot or if it rains, practice will be moved inside and be closed to the public.
The Saints have plenty of new faces to check out for the 2018 Season. First round pick Marcus Davenport and third rounder Tre’Quan Smith will be looking for starting time right off the bat. New additions Demario Davis, Cameron Meredith, Benjamin Watson, Kurt Coleman and Patrick Robinson will also be looking to be on the starting lineup.
The following Training Camp practices are sold out:
Saturday, July 28
Sunday, July 29
Saturday, August 4

The biggest battles this training camp will be at linebacker, wide receiver and to find out who will replace Mark Ingram while he’s suspended.
Of course, for most fans, the attention will be on 39-year old Drew Brees to see if he’s showing any signs at all of slowing down. The answer is not likely. And to see the newest major star in the NFL, Alvin Kamara, flashing his stuff in Metairie.
This is as loaded as the Saints roster has looked in a long time. As the Black and Gold prepare for a run at the title, you’ll have a chance to watch them practice but it’s a super hot ticket. If you want to go you’ll have to have a ticket. All the details are available at the Saints website.
