Crescent City Sports will feature live video streams of two key district matchups Friday and Saturday.The streams of Friday’s matchup of District 8-5A co-leaders John Ehret and Landry-Walker from Behrman Stadium and Saturday night’s District 9-5A game between Jesuit and Archbishop Rummel from Joe Yenni Stadium will begin just prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff. The Jesuit-Rummel game will also air on WGSO 990 AM.The Patriots and Chargin’ Bucs are tied atop the 8-5A standings with 3-0 records. Ehret (5-1) is fourth in the Crescent City Sports Class 5A rankings, while Landry-Walker (3-3) has pulled even after an extremely difficult non-district schedule.Since the two teams have become district rivals, Landry-Walker has won all three meetings, including a 30-0 blanking of John Ehret last year.Rummel (5-1) is tied with John Curtis for the District 9-5A lead with 2-0 records, while Jesuit (4-2, 2-1) sits a half-game back.Last season at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium – in a game also seen on Crescent City Sports – the Raiders rallied from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Blue Jays 25-24.Lenny Vangilder and Terrence Jones will call Friday’s game, while Ken Trahan, Easten Roth and Phil Greco will have Saturday’s call.Crescent City Sports will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2018-19 school year. Additionally, in cooperation with Cox Sports Television, CCS will also produce up to 10 more events that will both be televised on CST and streamed on the site.
