SAINTS NEWS: MARCUS DAVENPORT DUE TO MISS UP TO A MONTH (NFL.COM) Saints News

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Saints Rookie Defensive End, Marcus Davenport, injured his toe and is expected to miss up to a month of playing time. The Saints are reviewing the injury and additional medical reports on Davenport’s condition. More information pending.

Marcus Davenport is coming off a two-sack performance on Sunday night’s contest against the Minnesota Vikings. Davenport’s playing time has increased and was making major contributions to the Saints pass rush. New Orleans will face the undefeated Los Angeles Rams on Sunday without Davenport’s speed and athleticism.
