Final Saints-Bengals injury report: 6 players out for Cincy – (Saints Wire) Saints News

The New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Bengals are preparing to play against each other in the Queen City on Sunday, Nov. 11, but several players on both sides will be held out with injuries – including some stars and starters. Here’s what was made official on Friday:

The Saints ruled out just one player initially: rookie defensive end Marcus Davenport (toe), still stuck in a walking boot per doctor’s orders. Wide receiver Dez Bryant (ankle) is officially questionable to play but believed to be out for the year after a possible Achilles tendon injury.

Every other Saints player previously listed on injury reports this week were full participants, and expect to play Sunday. That includes slot cornerback P.J. Williams (hamstring) and the entire starting offensive line: left tackle Terron Armstead (knee), left guard Andrus Peat (hip), center Max Unger (knee), right guard Larry Warford (not injury related), and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee).

The Bengals preemptively ruled out six of their own: linebacker Vontaze Burfict (hip), linebacker Nick Vigil (knee), cornerback Darqueze Dennard (sternoclavicular), tight end Tyler Kroft (foot), wide receiver Josh Malone (hamstring), and wide receiver A.J. Green (toe). Guard Alex Redmond (hamstring) is doubtful to play, and running back Giovani Bernard (knee) is questionable.

The other Bengals listed were full participants and should expect to suit up: tight end C.J. Uzomah (clavicle), center Billy Price (foot), wide receiver John Ross (groin), and guard Clint Boling (back).
